Services include integration strategy design, integration cost assessment, integration governance and program set up, integration planning, day 1 readiness, first 100 days implementation and integration reviews.
Carve-Out and separation assessment and execution
assisting clients in overcoming the operational challenges of separating an embedded business, division or product from its parent. We can assist with defining the operational boundaries of a business that is to be separated and/or sold and set up an effective program to achieve such a carve-out. We understand how to set up and execute Transition Service Agreements (TSAs) to allow the business to transition smoothly to being stand alone. Services include separation readiness assessments, identification of operational boundaries, one-off and stranded cost analysis, separation risks and issue definition, separation planning and execution including Day 1, TSA development and execution.
Operational analysis and improvement
assisting clients in identifying operational improvement opportunities and supporting their execution. This may be as part of an Operational Due Diligence process, or as part of a standalone business review seeking to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Our services include operational issues based analysis of potential upside opportunities and operational execution support.
Project and Program management
assisting clients in establishing effective project and program management structures that will create momentum for the delivery of operational changes – whether these relate to an integration, separation or operational improvement initiative. We are experienced in setting up project management structures that are fit for purpose for our clients’ organisations and provide transparency and control on delivery. Services include setting up and running project management offices (PMO) and workstreams, establishing governance, reporting and roles, developing project master plan and tracking mechanisms and undertaking project management reviews.
Deal and program effectiveness review
assisting clients to understand the progress of their integration, separation or operational program and whether this is on track to delivery against anticipated value. We work with clients to understand where a program may be behind expectations, and identify actions to bring this back on track quickly and effectively. We also undertake independent reviews to assist with reporting requirements to boards and other stakeholders. Services include one-off and regular reviews at set points of an integration, separation or operational program (eg Day 1, Days 30, 60, 90 and beyond).
